"Why have young people in Japan stopped having sex?"
This article was pretty fascinating. It relates to the "Womenomics" NPR article that we read, but its societal significance is much broader. It also acknowledges that Japan's media "has a name for every social kink", examples here include: soshoku danshi, literally, "grass-eating men" and parasaito shingurus, parasite singles. The article discusses technology's growing role in Japanese relationships and suggests that this is the result of he country being an "overcrowded nation with limited physical space." A lot of really interesting ideas...
